Color Masterbatch
PC masterbatch is a kind of color masterbatch using polycarbonate (PC) as the carrier resin. It is formulated with high-temperature resistant pigments and special additives to match the high processing temperature of PC materials.
It features excellent heat resistance, good compatibility and stable color performance. It is widely used for coloring polycarbonate products such as automotive lamp housings, LED covers, home appliance parts and optical components. It is also applicable to PC/ABS blends.
PC masterbatch has the following characteristics and application advantages
1. Better dispersibility
During the production process of color masterbatch, it is necessary to refine the pigments. After heating and melting, the pigment particles can be well dispersed in the plastic products.
2. Chemical stability
After the pigment is made into a color masterbatch, the resin carrier isolates the pigment from air and moisture, which can maintain the quality of the pigment for a long time.
3. Ensure the color of the product
The color masterbatch are similar to the resin particles, and the mixture with the resin is also relatively uniform, thus ensuring the stability of the addition amount and product color.
