Black Masterbatch
PBAT masterbatch is a biodegradable masterbatch using PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) as the carrier resin, loaded with high concentrations of pigments, carbon black, fillers or functional additives. It is designed for eco-friendly, fully compostable plastic products.
1、Key Characteristics of PBAT Masterbatch
- Carrier: PBAT resin (biodegradable).
- Additives: Carbon black, pigments, PLA, starch, calcium carbonate, processing aids, etc..
- Compatibility: Best with PBAT, PLA, starch-based bioplastics; limited use with conventional PE/PP.
- Processing: Film blowing, injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion; typical temp 120–160°C.
- Biodegradability: Fully compostable; meets EN 13432, ASTM D6400 standards.
