Black Masterbatch
PE masterbatch is a common color/functional masterbatch with polyethylene as the base carrier. It is produced by mixing pigments, carbon black or functional additives with PE resin via melting, compounding and granulation.
PE masterbatch has the following characteristics and application advantages
Core features
- Low cost, excellent fluidity and superior pigment dispersion.
- Good processability, suitable for blow film, extrusion and injection molding.
- Wide compatibility with HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and EVA materials.
- Moderate heat resistance, fit for conventional plastic processing temperatures.
Main advantages
- Dust-free, easy to store and feed.
- Stable coloring effect with few surface defects.
- Various functional types available: anti-UV, anti-static, anti-slip etc.
Limitations
- Not suitable for high-temperature processing and engineering plastics.
- Poor compatibility with PA, PC, PET and other non-polyethylene materials.
Typical applications
